I want to relate a bit about the person who is responsible for mentoring me and helping me to learn to draw comics. We spent time together as next door neighbors for about eight years, and I still have a love of his artwork. He introduced me to comic books, as I was curious about the art form, having only a few transformers comics at the time. We walked to the Star Realm, which was our neighborhood comic book shop to buy issues of current comics. We both followed the Tick, he more faithfully than I, but we had many a chuckle over the first twelve issues together.
